So Warrick getting killed in the final minutes of CSI was less shocking to me than who pulled the trigger.
Do you have a favorite season-ending moment from this year?
Back in the day of classic prime-time soaps (think Knots Landing) they called 'em cliff-hangers.
I remember the Dynasty cliff-hanger where John Forsythe's Blake Carrington was literally dangling over the edge of a cliff... but I digress...
This season, even though Desperate Housewives touted their finale as "the one you'll be talking about all summer" (um, who cares if Susan has a new guy five years from now - this surprises me how? ~ however, I do want to find a YouTube clip of Gabby and her chubby little chicas -- that one made me LAUGH!), but overall the DH finale didn't make me say "damn it's how many months til the next episode?" Not like classic Knots, which always had me in Knots over the summer until the spring they went off the air, then I wished I had a summer to be in cul-de-sackian suspense... but again, I digress...
The shocker for me this season, I guess, was in the final moments of CSI:Miami last night. Not that Horatio took a bullet - we saw him lying face down on the tarmac in previews all week - but that Wolfe might be in cahoots with the bad guys on this one. Is it just some bizarro coincidence that he received a text message saying "it's done" right after H was shot - or did our boy Ryan actually align himself with the baddies?

Not Calleigh, Too!

Last week, our favorite corpse-caressing coroner, Dr. Alexx Woods, left the Miami-Dade Crime Lab. This week, it looks like Calleigh is in hot water with internal affairs jerkwad Rick - is Calleigh the next CSI regular to leave CSI: Miami?
Holy Sunglasses Of Justice, Horatio - say it isn't so!
You KNOW I'll be watching tonight!

CSI: Miami
Good-bye, Alexx

Cinco de Mayo was hot in Miami as Alexx's son became embroiled in a murder case.
On the CBS CSI:Miami home page there is a clip of the cast saying good-bye to Khandi Alexander. I'm sorry to see my favorite corpse-caressing coroner heading out the door of the Miami-Dade Crime Lab.
While I loved making fun of Alexx, it was sad to see Khandi Alexander's Dr. Alexx Woods leave the show.
There are few enough strong female role models on network television, much less African-American ones, and you have to admit that lead coroner for a major crime lab is a great role model.
I wish Khandi Alexander nothing but the best in her future, and can't wait to see tonight's episode!

More Sunglasses Of Justice Tonight!

Horatio's been extradited to Rio for murder, and Calliegh's bound & gagged on a basement floor.
While there was some action (Delko breaking down the door to Cooper's sweet internet lair and threatening to kill him), it seemed like a big intro to tonight's episode.
The CBS ad promo says, "By the time it's all over, you'll be the one gasping."
Part 2 of Season 6, Episode 14 CSI: Miami airs tonight @ 10pm on CBS.
CSI Week continues Wednesday with the return of CSI:NY, and then the original CSI returns with a new episode on Thursday.

CSI: Miami
Part 1 Airs Tonight

Elizabeth Berkley returns to CSI: Miami tonight, and Horatio is up to his shades in hot water.
Kyle's mom Julia tips off the Feds about H's past deeds in South America, to get him off her case regarding the car (with it's duct-taped driver inside) we saw sliding into the swamp.
Meanwhile, Calleigh is kid-napped by some guys who have a criminalist website - she wakes up, bound and gagged, gasping on a basement floor...
Part two airs tomorrow night, and the CBS ad tagline is "When it's all done, you'll be the one gasping."

CSI: Miami Returns
The previews for last night's CSI: Miami were mis-leading.
Watching the preview, with Emily Procter's Calliegh Duquesne in a wedding veil, standing before an altar with Adam Rodriguez's Erik Delko, then an image of a bullet speeding toward the blonde bride - made many viewers think that Calliegh gets shot on her wedding day.
Alas, the previews had little to do with the actual episode, other than a blonde bride gets shot.
Once I got past that, it was a pretty good episode.
A bride indeed gets shot at the altar - by a remote-controlled limo-mounted gun. The "whodunnit" hinges on this gun, triggered by a cell phone. Is it just me, or do lots of CSI plots hinge on cell phones? I never would have thought of setting off a bomb or shooting my bride via cell phone before watching these shows!

One Week From Tonight!

return one week from tonight.
I'm not sure why I'm so excited about new episodes of CSI: Miami.
Probably has something to do with the previews ~
Are Calleigh and Eric getting married?
Does Calleigh get shot on her wedding day?
(If so, my money's on her psycho stalker spurned detective dude as the shooter!)
Guess we have to tune in next Monday to find out!
